Lashings Main Event sponsor are Bower Mattin and Young

Langley Cricket Club are delighted to announce that Bower Mattin and Young have agreed to be the Main Event Sponsors for our major Lashings event on Friday 16th June.

Chairman Matt Stevens commented:
“Forming a new partnership with an established local company like Bower Mattin and Young is fantastic for the club and for them to be heavily involved with our major Lashings event is great news. Speaking to Joe and Finnegan it is clear they want to develop and progress our partnership beyond the Lashings event. On behalf of the club I’d like to thank Joe, Finnegan and the entire Bower Mattin and Young team for their support.”

The Lashings event brings International cricket to Langley for the first time in the clubs 159 year history. A 3 course sit down meal with the players followed by auctions, raffles and a Q&A proceeds a Junior Training session and T20 game against some major ex International cricketers from across the world. This is followed by a live band and hog roast and promises to be a superb day for the club and area as a whole. For more information and to book tickets please email

Finnegan Hulbert, Associate Director at Bower Mattin and Young stated:
“Bower Mattin and Young architects are delighted to sponsor Langley Cricket Club for the new season. The practice has been serving commerce and community since 1854 and since 1985 in Macclesfield. It is well versed in adding value in the pursuit of appropriate, affordable solutions for individual and corporate clients. The architects adopt an “long life, loose fit, low energy” approach in designing buildings which innovatively respond to the character and context of each site. End users and neighbours are often directly consulted in the design process. Working with its sister practice Cheshire Property Links Ltd it provides a wide range of property services including planning advice, feasibility studies and development assessments. The practice can offer a one stop shop service through its framework sub consultants which include structural and services engineers, quantity surveying, town planning, ecology, highways planning, arboricultural surveys, heritage reports, contamination reports and topographical surveys.”
